This particular Solar Ball resembles Sputnik, the infamous satellite which the Russians placed into orbit decades ago. Nevertheless IDEA, one of the Japanese creative company, managed to create something that resembles Sputnik, and best of all, it’s a glowing ball that runs on solar energy.

A good sun exposure from 2 to 5 hours would give the solar ball close to 8 hours of operation. I believe that this particular solar ball would definitely be a very cool device to be placed on your garden – probably you can scare the hell out of your neighbors thinking that aliens have in fact landed on your backyard.
