In preparation for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will begins on January 8, Pentax has introduced its Compact Cameras - the two low-price point-and-shoot cameras, the $199.95 for Optio P70, and $129.95 for Optio E70.Is quite cheap if compare with others cameras in market. Lots specification can found in both, likes Pixel Track Shake Reduction, new digital anti-shake technology, and a face recognition system that can seemingly identify 32 faces in 0.03 seconds.
Optio P70 features a 12-megapixel sensor, able capture 720p video at 15 FPS, ISO from 64 to an astounding 6400, has a 4x zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display. Meanwhile, the E70 have a 10-megapixel sensor, a 2.4-inch display and also 3x zoom.
The Pentax Optio P70 will be obtainable in silver, white or red. While, the Pentax Optio E70 is obtainable in champagne gold, wine red and deep blue. Anyone who are interested in this kind of cameras, wait and be prepared to grab it starting in coming February.
