It seems that Nintendo might be utilizing the Tegra chipset for their future Nintendo DS machines. Of course, the Tegra chipset which would be used will be the 2nd generation Tegra technology, whereby it will feature a 40nm architecture.
Judging by the fact that Tegra is one of the all-powerful processors in the market for small electronic devices, I believe that if Nintendo were to integrate the chipset into their future Nintendo DS, this will offer better game play for the gamers as well.
Of course, this particular news isn’t official, but it is a rumor that has been circulating in the market. And Nintendo could change their processor decision pretty quickly, if there are better technology released in the near future.
