It seems that NEC has launched their very first pocket WiMAX router, dubbed as the NEC Aterm WM3300R. This particular WiMAX router also comes with 802.11b/g WiFi, which makes it one of the smallest and most portable routers in the market.
On the other hand, the NEC Aterm WM3300R can give you very good transfer speeds, namely 40Mbps (downstream) / 10Mbps (upstream). And as for the batteries onboard the router, it can last 2.5 hours before turning dead. On the other hand, you can also connect the NEC Aterm WM3300R via a USB connector to your PC.
Of course, this particular router is available for purchase in Japan for ¥25,000, or $272.
