McDonald Sales Up 7.1 Percent PDF Print E-mail
Despite gloomy economic forecasts, McDonald’s sales actually went up 7.1 percent worldwide.

My personal thoughts: I believe that even though the economy is bad, the basic consumer needs must still be fulfilled. I think that consumers would not want to purchase those expensive gadgetries or automobiles, and with the additional money that they have save, they would be glad to spend it on food instead – which actually increase McDonald’s overall sale.

On the other hand, McDonald marketing team is pretty cunning – they knew that the world is heading towards recession and this is where they have introduced various ‘super value meals’ on their menu.

Cheers to McDonald!
