It seems that LG has their very own technology which resembles pretty much like the e-ink and it’s called the e-paper. In fact, the e-paper technology is flexible or rather bendable and it can display monochrome images on it. Personally, I believe that it could be a very good substitute for the Kindle XXL.
On the other hand, LG has yet to perfect the technology to include color, but still it’s a huge step for LG into the e-ink market. LG did not disclose on whether they will be mass producing this technology anytime soon, as they are particular secretive at the moment. The company also did not disclose the launch date or price to acquire this piece of technology.
Is LG sitting on a white elephant technology which they practically blew millions to develop?
