Large Hadron Collider Resumes Operation |

The Large Hadron Collider was damaged a couple of months back and CERN had to spend several million dollars just to repair this multi-billion dollars project. Nevertheless, the Large Hadron Collider is almost back into operation as of now and it will come (half) live in November this year, but it also seems that it will be running at half of the intended power until next year.
And if you are wondering just how much power the Large Hadron Collider consumes, this gigantic machine operates on 3.5 TeV (or trillion electron volts) per beam and when it resumes it full operation next year, the power would be gradually increased to 5 TeV per beam and subsequently to 7 TeV per beam by end of next year.
So the end of the world is probably next year – you think?
