Intel Forecasts Weaker Q4 Performance |

Intel’s CEO Otellini has shot down their initial forecast for their sales in Q4 this year. In fact, they have further cut $1 billion from their initial forecast due to weaker consumer spending.
Although they might have an advantage over their latest Atom processors, their mainstream processors would be likely to take a huge beating as consumers are cautious over their spending.
On the other hand, the world’s largest chipmaker might also trim their workforce if the economy continues in a downward trend.
