For those who are looking for an ultra slim PC that does all the basic things, or probably a little more, should seriously consider the latest G Box by EMTEC. This particular ultra-mobile desktop PC is only one inch thick runs on NVIDIA’s latest Ion platform. Amazingly, it can run Windows XP without any hitch.
On the other hand, it also comes with at least 6 USB 2.0 ports as well as a nifty 160GB hard drive. Well there wouldn’t be a HDMI port, but you’ll have to stick to the VGA port at the moment. But according to the company, a newer model which is planned for production later this year will have the HDMI port.
Price wise, the G Box is dirt cheap at £179 ($293 US).
