It seems that Comcast has made plans to take control of NBC, whereby they would like to own more than 51 percent of stake in the company. Based on Comcast’s current standings, if this acquisition succeeds, we will see that Comcast will own two dozens of networks as well as TV stations.
I’m sure that you have heard of E! and even Universal movie studios – yes, these are already owned by Comcast. Personally, I believe that the prospects to acquire NBC are pretty good, as clearly this can be used as a tool for marketing efforts for the organization.
