Apparently, ASUS has upgraded the ASUS Eee PC 1215 with the Ion-2 platform, and the latest version also come with various goodies, namely USB 3.0 integration, and you can even utilize a rather attractive juicy addition, which is the dual-core Atom D510 processor availability.
Of course, the ASUS Eee PC 1215 has also been given an upgrade to its hardware, whereby it will be running on Optimus as well. Surely, you can transfer files at blazing speeds, as the ASUS Eee PC 1215 supports the USB 3.0 connectivity. On the other hand, there’s 2 pair of these USB 3.0 ports, and I’m sure that 2 of these ports are more than enough.
However, there’s no indication on the pricing structure for the ASUS Eee PC 1215, and ASUS did not disclose on the availability date as well, but there’s always a snapshot of this particular netbook for your viewing:
