Just a couple of weeks back, AMD announced their all new micro processors to the world – the AMD Phenom II processors. Today, AMD announced that they will be adding more flavors to the Phenom II processors – as many as 5 variants.

Nissan to Fire 20,000 Workers Globally PDF Print E-mail
Right after Toyota projected grim sales data for 2009, Nissan unveiled to the world that they would be firing 20,000 of their workforce globally. In fact, Nissan themselves projected a $2.9 billion loss for 2009 and trimming their workforce would help them stay afloat for a little longer for the market environment to get better.

My personal thoughts: I’m pretty sure that most of us are aware of Nissan cars – take the Nissan Fairlady for example. It’s a 2-door sports car which features a whopping 6 cylinders 3 liters engine.

With the global economic meltdown clobbering companies worldwide, I believe that it’s pretty hard to sell cars at present time as consumers wouldn’t want to fork out tens of thousands of their personal savings just to purchase a vehicle. Rather, they would place the money inside a bank and refrain themselves from spending a single dime.

Well if Nissan don’t trim their workforce soon, the entire company would come down rather than just 20,000 workers.

For fans of the Apple iPhone who can’t afford to purchase their dream phone, there is in fact a rather more expensive alternative which you can purchase, namely the Meizu. Just a couple of months back, news leaked into the market as China prepares to unveil their latest ‘Apple-cloned’ product, the Meizu.

Meizu is in fact on sale for $439.99 and personally I think that it looks very similar to the iPhone.

My personal thoughts: When purchasing some of the cloned-Chinese products, you must be aware that some of them do not follow regular safety standards. Remember the Chinese milk scandal which left so many babies dead in their mainland? Or reported cases of exploding mobile phone batteries which left the owner crippled or worse, dead?

I’m sure that the Meizu is a great phone – but you just got to be cautious when using it. You wouldn’t want it to explode on your face right?
